Origin of digital currencies (Liberty Reserve, C-gold, Pecunix and others)
Internet has allowed many merchants of any size and even millions of individuals to sell their products and services to anybody anywhere on the planet. Even without a personal web site we can sell anything via web sites like ebay.com. However the traditional methods of payment are not adapted to this new way of selling then some business thought to create an online payment system better adapted to internet as example Paypal, owned by ebay.com. A merchant/individual accepting digital currencies does not have to get an expensive credit card set up and reduce his risk of frauds.
Since the creation of Paypal many competitors came in that market and 2 business models have been developed. The one of Paypal where all the incoming and outgoing funds are handled by the payment system himself and the one where the funds are handled by independent resellers like us, Getemoney.com.
There are 3 advantages of having resellers:
a. No need of many employees to handle customers’ incoming and outgoing funds since they are handled by the resellers.
b. Allow a more efficient service and makes the digital currency more liquid because of the many resellers all around the world and competing among themselves.
c. Allow many entries and exits points for the funds all around the world which is not the case for the Paypal business model.

What is Getemoney.com?
Getemoney.com is an independent reseller, not affiliated to any other company, offering the possibility to convert your currencies to fund your digital currency accounts and vice versa. Getemoney is then not a company selling products nor a business offering entertainment or investment services.
Who are our customers?
Our customers are individuals or merchants who:
• Need funds/digital currencies in a payment system to pay for services or products on internet
• Wants to withdraw accumulated funds/digital currencies from their digital account
How does it work?
Getemoney has an account at each payment system (as Liberty reserve competitor to Paypal and others) and a business bank account
1. When a customer needs to fund his, lets say LibertyReserve account, he does an order on our web site Getemoney.com and send us a payment as indicated in the payment instructions written in the order confirmation sent by email.
2. When we receive his payment we match it to his order then we transfer the equivalent amount, less our fees, from our LibertyReserve account to his LibertyReserve account.
3. The customer may then spend the value of his LibertyReserve account at any vendor/merchant he wants accepting LibertyReserve. By using LibertyReserve value (or any other internet payment system) the customer does not have to provide his credit card number and the merchant does not have to get an expensive credit card setup.
When the merchant/vendor or individual wants to convert what he has accumulated in his liberty reserve account then he does a selling order on Getemoney.com.
4. The merchant/vendor or individual transfer/sell to Getemoney his funds from his Liberty Reserve account to ours.
5. Getemoney match that funds to the corresponding order and then sends the money to the merchant/vendor
Who is Liberty Reserve?
Liberty Reserve is one of multiple internet payment systems that people use to pay merchants/individuals that offer products/services on Internet. However to fund their Liberty Reserve account people can not send their money directly to Liberty Reserve as people do with Paypal, Hyperwallet or AlertPay because Liberty Reserve decided to not deal directly with customers and rather have retailer dealers as GC E-Com Services inc. is.
